Oregon Daycation Life: Wine Tasting at Iris Vineyards

Wine Tasting at Iris Vineyards

We spent another lovely Sunday at one of my favorite local wineries, Iris, part of the Southern Willamette Valley, Willamette Valley AVA, is 20 minutes Southwest of Eugene on the Territorial Highway, neighboring King Estate.  At the foothills of the Oregon Coast Mountain Range, this Tuscan style tasting room looks out over its nestled vines with a glorious view. The beautiful architecture of Iris makes one feel they are in Italy as they indulge in their delicious array of wines. My personal favorite of what we tasted is their the 2015 Chalice Estate C Block Pinot Noir.

Crystal, the tasting room manager, treated us like royalty, as we indulged in a whole array of their wines, including their almost sold out sparkling rosé. She is simply wonderful and a gracious, hospitable host at that! Their tasting room and winery location is the perfect daycation getaway for hosting out-of-town guests, a bachelorette day retreat, a great date day or just a way to get out of town and relax. Iris is the locals’ best kept secret for a summer day getaway. I highly recommend adding Iris to your upcoming daycation getaway planning! Enjoy our little photoshoot and thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to follow along on my journeys of travel, fashion, food and wine tasting! xo

As you can tell I am really enjoying the wine, as usual, wine lover here! Shop my look here
